Rajasthan Caste Certificate Status Check: Track Using Token Number
You do not need to visit the Tehsil office or wait in queues at an e-Mitra kiosk to check the progress of your caste certificate (*Jati Praman Patra*). The Government of Rajasthan allows any citizen to track their file live on the e-Mitra portal (emitra.rajasthan.gov.in) without logging in.
How to Check Status Online Without Login (Step-by-Step):
Visit the official e-Mitra portal at emitra.rajasthan.gov.in .
On the homepage right sidebar or main navigation menu, click on Online Verification Section (Track Issue Status) or Transaction Status.
Select your search mode:
- By Transaction ID / Token Number: Enter the unique number (टोकन संख्या) printed at the top of your e-Mitra payment acknowledgement slip.
- By Jan Aadhaar ID: Enter your 10-digit family Jan Aadhaar number. An OTP will be sent to the Head of Family's registered mobile number to fetch all pending service transactions.
Solve the simple numerical security captcha and click Search (खोजें). A detailed lifecycle audit log will display who currently holds your file, previous officer remarks, and timestamps.
Decoding Your e-Mitra Status Messages
Your application has been logged on the e-Mitra server and assigned a token number. It is queuing for dispatch to the local Tehsil Revenue desk.
The file is currently with your village Halka Patwari. The Patwari checks your uploaded physical report against the Jamabandi land records on Apna Khata.
The Patwari inquiry is complete and endorsed. The Naib Tehsildar, Tehsildar, or SDO is reviewing the non-creamy layer declaration and applicant credentials.
The competent authority has approved the file and applied their electronic Digital Signature Certificate (DSC). The certificate is ready for instant download.
The officer has flagged an issue (e.g. illegible Jamabandi scan, missing Two Responsible Persons stamp, or name spelling mismatch). You have 15 days to re-upload the requested paper on SSO.
The application was turned down. Check the remarks column for the specific legal reason (e.g., claiming caste via husband, or caste not in state gazette).
What to Do If Your Application Is Delayed Beyond 30 Days
Under the Rajasthan Public Services Guarantee Act 2011 (राजस्थान लोक सेवा गारंटी अधिनियम), Tehsildars must deliver caste certificates within 15 to 30 working days. If your file is stuck without reason:
- Call CM Helpline / Rajasthan Sampark 181: Dial
181(Toll-Free from any phone in Rajasthan). Quote your e-Mitra Token Number. The grievance is automatically registered against the concerned Tehsildar's office with a 7-day compliance notice. - File Online on Rajasthan Sampark: Visit
sampark.rajasthan.gov.inand submit an online complaint under the Revenue Department. - Contact e-Mitra Helpdesk: Call
0141-2221424/0141-2221425or email[email protected]for technical token stalls.
