- Visit the official e-District HP portal: edistrict.hp.gov.in.
- On the home dashboard, locate the "Track Application (आवेदन की स्थिति)" section.
- Enter your unique Application Number (e.g., HP-CC/2026/XXXXX printed on your payment receipt).
- Click "Search / Track" to view the real-time processing desk, assigned Patwari name, and expected delivery date.
Understanding the 4 Administrative Processing Stages in HP
Your digital dossier passes through four revenue checkpoints before the certificate is sanctioned:
The digital dossier is routed to the local Halka Patwari in whose jurisdiction the applicant's ancestral village falls. The Patwari examines the uploaded Pariwar Register nakal and Bonafide Himachali certificate.
The Patwari cross-references the official revenue family tree (Shajra Nasab) and Himbhoomi Jamabandi records to confirm that the applicant's father belongs to the notified community. The Patwari drafts the formal verification report.
The Field Kanungo reviews the Patwari's report, verifies statutory reservation guidelines, and forwards the recommendation to the Tehsil judicial officer.
The Tehsildar or Naib Tehsildar approves the application and applies their official Digital Signature Certificate (DSC). The portal updates status to "Approved / Delivered" and generates the final PDF with a 2D QR barcode.
How to Resolve Objections (Query Raised Status)
If your status displays "Objection Raised / Pending for Citizen Clarification", the Patwari requires supplementary verification:
Common Objection 1: Bonafide Himachali Certificate Missing or Unclear
If your Bonafide Himachali certificate copy is missing or illegible, log into e-District HP, open your application, and re-upload a clear scanned copy showing the issuing Sub-Division stamp.
Common Objection 2: Blurry Pariwar Register Nakal
If the scanned copy of your family register nakal is blurry or lacks the official signature/stamp of the Panchayat Secretary, procure a fresh certified copy from your Gram Panchayat, scan it under 200 KB, and re-upload.
Delays Beyond 15 Days: First Appeal under HP PSG Act, 2011
Under the Himachal Pradesh Public Services Guarantee Act, 2011, if your application remains undecided after 15 working days without statutory justification, you have the legal right to file a First Appeal (प्रथम अपील) directly before the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of your sub-division. You can also dial toll-free 1100 (CM Seva Sankalp Helpline) to lodge an immediate administrative complaint.
