Madhya Pradesh Caste Certificate Status Check Online (MP e-District)
Once you submit your application for a Permanent Caste Certificate on mpedistrict.gov.in or at a Lok Seva Kendra, you can track its live movement in real time without needing a password. The MP e-District portal provides a public tracking tool where you only need your Registration Number (RS Code) or registered mobile number.
How to Check Status in 3 Simple Steps (Without Login):
- Visit the official portal: mpedistrict.gov.in.
- On the homepage, locate the box labeled "आवेदन की स्थिति जानें" (Track Application Status).
- Select "पंजीकरण क्र." (Registration No.), enter your number (e.g.
RS/418/01/2026/XXXXXX), type the captcha characters, and click "खोजें" (Search).
Tip: If you do not have your RS number handy, you can also select the "मोबाइल नंबर" option to search using your registered mobile number linked with your Samagra ID and Aadhaar.
What Your MP e-District Application Status Means:
Your application has been logged on the portal and electronically transferred to the Sub-Divisional Officer / Tehsil office of your revenue jurisdiction.
Your local Halka Patwari is verifying family land ownership (खसरा / खतौनी from saara.mp.gov.in), old school TCs, or conducting a field Panchnama with village/ward elders.
The Patwari inquiry report has been submitted to the Tehsildar and forwarded to the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO Revenue) for final verification and approval.
Your certificate has been digitally signed by the SDO. Scroll down to the bottom table on the tracking page and click on "प्रमाण पत्र / आदेश" to download the official PDF.
What to Do If Your Application is Delayed or Rejected
Under the MP Public Services Guarantee Act 2010, the statutory timeline for caste certificate delivery is 30 working days.
- If Status is Inordinately Delayed: Call the CM Helpline at 181 (toll-free within MP). Quote your RS Registration Number to file a priority complaint against administrative delay.
- If Application is Rejected (अस्वीकृत): Click on "अस्वीकृति आदेश" in the tracking window to read the specific rejection reason recorded by the SDO.
- First Appeal (प्रथम अपील): You have the legal right to file a First Appeal before the Collector / Upper Collector (अपर कलेक्टर) within 30 days of rejection.
