How to Check Maharashtra Caste Certificate Status Online (Aaple Sarkar / आपले सरकार)
Applicants in Maharashtra can track the real-time processing status of their SC, ST, VJNT, OBC, or SBC caste certificate online without logging into an account. All you need is your unique 18-digit Application ID generated during online submission or received at the Maha e-Seva Kendra / Setu Kendra.
How to Track Your Application Status in 3 Simple Steps
Go to the official portal: aaplesarkar.mahaonline.gov.in . On the right-hand panel of the homepage, locate the box titled “Track Your Application” (अर्जाची स्थिती तपासा).
In the dropdown menus, select Department: Revenue Department (महसूल विभाग), Sub-Service: Revenue Services, and Service Name: Caste Certificate (जातीचे प्रमाणपत्र).
Type in your complete 18-digit Application ID exactly as printed on your payment receipt, and click “Go”. The screen will immediately display your submission date, applicant name, current desk location (Talathi / Circle Officer / SDO), and final verdict.
What Does Your Maharashtra Status Message Mean?
Your application has been received into the system. The local village Talathi (तलाठी) is reviewing uploaded papers and conducting a local panchnama to verify hereditary domicile before your category's cut-off year.
The Circle Officer (मंडळ अधिकारी) has verified the Talathi inquiry report, validated the Kotwal Bahi or school GR extract, and forwarded the file to the Sub-Divisional Officer.
The Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO / प्रांत अधिकारी) has approved your caste claim. The certificate is queued in the system awaiting cryptographic USB digital signature token execution (clears in 24–48 hours).
Your digital caste certificate has been approved and digitally signed. You can now download the official colored PDF with QR barcode directly from Aaple Sarkar.
