Jammu and Kashmir is situated in Himalaya Mountains and share boarder with neighbor states. Jammu and Kashmir has an international boarder touched with chain in the north and east. The caste certificate is issued to those who belong to scheduled caste / scheduled tribe which are given in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Scheduled castes / Scheduled Tribes Order, 1956. Those peoples who are listed in constitution of Jammu and Kashmir Scheduled Tribes Order, 1989 (amended in 1991 in wide order no 3 and order no 36) are eligible to file application for ST caste certificate. Check list of Scheduled tribes given in constitution.

(f) Identity Proof ( Voter ID Card / Aadhaar Card / PAN Card) पहचान पत्र (वोटर आईडी कार्ड / आधार कार्ड / पैन कार्ड)।
(g) Address Proof (Telephone Bill / Water Bill / Electricity Bill / Gas Connection Receipt / Bank Passbook) पता प्रमाण (टेलीफोन बिल / पानी के बिल / बिजली का बिल / गैस कनेक्शन रसीद / बैंक पासबुक)।
Procedures for Applying for SC / ST Caste Certificate अनुसूचित जाति / अनुसूचित जनजाति के जाति प्रमाण पत्र को लागू करने के लिए प्रक्रिया

➦ You need to download application form from above link and take print of form. After this you need to fill all details in application form such as name of beneficiary, father name, mother name, residential address, caste / religion etc.
➦ Next you need to attach all important document copies with application form. The duly filled application form and copies of all documents are to be attest by any gazette officer.
➦ Visit to concerned authority office and submit application form along with all documents. Make payment of prescribed fee charges.
➦ Next concerned officer will conduct inquiry to check all details given in application form. After all verification, the caste certificate is issued to applicant within prescribed time limit to applicant.

Application for caste certificate is to be submit along with all required documents to the Sub
Divisional Magistrate or Tehsildar or Revenue Department Officer. After submit form you will receive a receipt which is used to collect certificate and to check status of application.
Delivery Period अवधि
