Caste certificate is an important identity certificate which proves that the person is belonging to the particular caste or region such as schedule caste, schedule tribe or other backward caste etc. Caste certificate is generally issued for the those person’s who wants to issue this certificate for the various services which are provided by the state govt. This certificate is generally used for the concession in school and college fees , also this certificate is used for reserving seats in government sector. Students also issue the caste certificate to avail the scholarship schemes which are also provided by the state govt. Those individuals who are applying to obtain the caste certificate from the government through Andhra Pradesh Online portal must have to fill an online application form in a prescribed manner. This important application form is submitted to the local issuing authority.

The applicant receives an acknowledgement receipt from the AP organization on submitting the application form.

Required Documents for SC,ST certificate:

The furnished documents are required to be submitted while applying for Caste Certificate at the local authority department which are as follows:

An Application Form with Rs 2 / – Court fee Stamp

Certification by the 2 different Gazettted Officers

Attested copy of T.C

The last Caste Certificate of either applicant or blood relatives on if any, Sangam Certificate

Ration Card or any other residence proof such as  electricity/ Gas/ Telephone/ Voter I.D Card etc.

Notary Affidavit on RS 10/ -Non Judicial Stamp paper

Certification from Two different Gazettted Officers

Notary Affidavit on RS 10/ -Non Judicial Stamp paper

Residence proof such as Ration Card/ Voter I.D Card/ Electricity/ Driving License/ Gas bill/ Telephone bill (BSNL) has to be submitted.

Income Tax returns / Income proof for last three years / Salary particulars. etc..

All the AP citizen are required to pay Rs. 20 / – at the eSEVA Centre at the time of applying for the SC,ST,OBC  certificate.

Issuance of Caste / OBC certificate will be issued within 15 days from date of application.

The application status can be verified or checked by the citizen by using the ‘Know your status’ option in the website of Hyderabad Collectorate (http://www.esevaonline.ap.gov.in/htmlpages/revenudept/proforma.htm) by just entering “CCR” or “CCN” and the Collectorate Regd., No which is given by eSEVA.

The citizen is then required to collect the certificate from the same eSEVA center where it is applied as per the date given in the acknowledgement slip.

After obtaining the caste certificate the applicant needs to keep it safely for the future purpose. An applicant is requested to check other notifications and details regarding the caste certificate on the official website.

  4. Sir,For reissue of BC certificate why a person needs to submit affidavit .we are providing all the certificates in original with xerox. Why should we go for gazetted signatures when we have all the originals. Appling for first time we need al procedures. For reissue also we need to follow same procedure? Its very bad..
